The ´Creation of Adam´ is a fresco painting by Italian artist Michelangelo, which forms part of the Sistine Chapel's ceiling in the vatican city.

The fresco was published in 1512 and shows the creation story from Genesis.

Michelangelo's work inspired me to paint a self-portrait.

An artist has the ability to create new things.

However, as an artist I myself am a creature and was created by the greatest of all artists, namely God.

We humans are creatures that are only guests on this planet, our lifetime on this earth is limited.
